Direct bus service is organized by APT Gorizia from the airport to the most important directions. The cost of tickets is from 1 to 4 euros. Buses number 1 and 26 will take you to Gorica, Monfalcone, and Grado; and number 51 - to Udine, Trieste, and Monfalcone.

If you need to go to Ljubljana you can take a train from Trieste Centrale train station. The trip will take around 4.5 hours.

Trieste Airport is a small transport hub with one terminal. Recently, it has gained wide popularity due to flights of low-cost airlines. Most often, flights within Italy, Slovenia and Croatia departs from here.
