Transfers in Rome vs. Taxi taken at taxi stand or ordered by phone or via the app
Advantages of a private transfer
No language barrier. Taxi service Uber is forbidden in Italy, and popular taxi apps “it Taxi” and “AppTaxi” are mostly in Italian. Are you afraid to make a mistake when ordering or not ready to communicate with a taxi driver? Order a transfer — Kiwitaxi site is available in 5 languages, including English, and has a 24-hour English-speaking support to help you with your booking.
No need to search or wait for a car, because a transfer driver will meet you at the given time where agreed.
Get to Fiumicino for the same price. In Rome you can order a taxi to Fiumicino for 48 euro — this is a daily price without a surcharge. With Kiwitaxi you will get there for 51 euro and our driver will help you with luggage, drive the speed limit, and the car will definitely not be older than 7 years.
No surcharge for luggage. For example, economy class transfer price already includes 3 luggage items. It doesn’t apply to taxis: for each bag after more than one you will have to pay 1 euro.
Disadvantage of a private transfer
More expensive to Ciampino: taxi costs 30–35 euro, whereas transfer from Rome — 50 euro.

Cheaper than Leonardo Express trip for the group of 4, because a train fare for one ticket is equal to 14 euro.

What is worth visiting in Rome?
Rome has a plenty of sights, but you will surely not get past the Colosseum. To avoid long lines, purchase a sightseeing pass (the Colosseum + Palatine + Roman Forum) for 16 euro.
Make sure to visit another iconic place — Trevi Fountain. Tourists believe: if you throw one coin into a fountain, you will come back to Rome; if two — you will meet your love; three — get married; four — get rich. The number of coins in the fountain is already worth 1,4 million euro.
It is highly recommended to visit Vatican Museums, too. There are around 20 museums as well as the famous Sistine Chapel in Vatican.
