How to Get from Genoa Airport to Other Destinations
Also known as Cristoforo Colombo Airport, it is an international airport, located 7 km from Genoa. The most important airport in Liguria serves flights from all over Europe. Taxi from Genoa Airport

Public transport from Genoa Airport
You can take a direct Volabus in order to get to the center of Genoa. A ticket costs 6 euros, and a trip lasts around 45 minutes. You can purchase a ticket at special machines or from the driver.
There is no train station right near the airport. Therefore, you will need to go by bus line 124 to Sestri Ponente station. It will cost you around 2 euros and take 10 minutes. Then, take a train to the center of Genova. A price of a 20-minute journey is 3 euros. You can also obtain a train ticket to other Italian cities. Check the timetables in advance. Public transportation does not operate at night. Take a taxi or a transfer in case you travel late.
