How do I find and book a transfer?

Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.

Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer?

Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.

If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.

If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.

If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.

How do I know if my booking has gone through?

After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

If you have not received the email with the confirmation, please contact our manager by email at support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

How can I find my driver?

Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.

If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.

If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.

Meet-up instructions are given in the voucher confirming your booking.

How to Get from Amalfi to Other Destinations

A Unesco world heritage site, this town is one of the popular holiday destinations in Italy. The backdrop of this town is Monte Cerreto with its cliffs framing the pastel architecture as well as the azure waters. At its heart is the Cathedral with Byzantium and Baroque influence in its architecture. Naples International is the closest airport to Amalfi and other coastal cities like Positano and Sorrento are more or less one hour away. 

Taxi from Amalfi  

Taxis are an expensive way to get around on the Amalfi coast and in other parts of Italy as well. You can call one or flag one down on the street. Cabs are air-conditioned and metered. To Salerno, taxi costs €32, to Naples train station €56. To the closest airport, the cab service costs €140 and takes one hour and a half. You pay extra for luggage and more than three people. Night and holiday taxi rates are 30% more and you always pay a calling fee if you book a taxi via phone. 

Public Transport from Amalfi 

Traveling through the winding roads of the coast is cheapest by bus. To Salerno, Sita bus costs €3.40, the journey is one hour and a half and lasts almost every hour. You can buy the ticket from newsstands and shops near the stop. To the airport, the shuttle runs four times a day for €15 and takes 2 hours. Keep in mind that routes between Sorrento, Amalfi, and other coastal towns tend to be pretty crowded and there will be lines. 

Transfer from Amalfi 

The taxis lack the fixed prices and there are extra fees, combined with the different prices of intercity traveling, it is not advised. Despite the lower prices, buses will make you wait and the last ones always tend to be crowded. Compared to other options, a private transfer offers a comfortable and stress-free journey between Amalfi and other destinations.
