Keep in mind that most local taxis are very old and uncomfortable. Also, taxi drivers are very reckless and tend to drive way too fast. Public Transport from Dabolim Airport to North Goa

Unfortunately, there are no direct buses from the airport to northern resorts. Here’s how you can reach them:

At the air hub, take the bus to Vasco da Gama. It runs from the station near the intersection with the traffic light. The ride takes 10 mins and costs 20 INR (0.25$).

In Vasco da Gama, take the shuttle to Panaji. The trip takes 40 mins and costs 40 INR (0.5$).

In Panaji, catch the bus to Mapusa. The travel time is 15 mins, and the trip cost is 20 INR (0.25$).

In Mapusa, you can take a bus to any northern resort. For instance, the trip to Arambol costs 30 INR (0.4$) and takes 1 hour.

Buses are often overcrowded. Also, they don’t stick to timetables and don’t run after 19:00.

About the Route

The distance from Dabolim Airport to the most popular northern beaches is 40-45 kilometers. Roads in this area are narrow and winding.
