Many tourists visit Morjim beach year. Why? Because this town has several great beaches, various sights like the Chapora Fort, and more! 

Getting to the town from Goa Airport (GOI) will be a problem if your plane arrives at night or your travel with children and elderly relatives. No public transport goes straight to the destination. Therefore, a transfer is the most comfortable, quickest, and safest option.

You will be met at the air hub right after your arrival. The driver will hold a nameplate so that you could easily find him. He will also help with your luggage. Taxi from Goa Airport to Morjim

The only official cabs are Yellow Black Prepaid Taxis. They are located outside the terminal at special taxi stands. It is not recommended taking taxis outside the arrivals area because those are most likely scams with higher fares.

The taxi fare from Goa Airport to Morjim Beach Resort is around 18 USD. Avoid trips with drivers who ask for significantly higher fares because these are scams.

There is no Uber in the district. However, there are some alternative apps that will let you take a taxi from Goa Airport to Morjim:

Please note that you will not find a car for several passengers with luggage. You can order a KiwiTaxi transfer for up to 19 passengers in a comfortable minibus. This is the best option if you travel with a big company and oversized baggage.

Public Transport from Goa Airport to Morjim

If you choose to travel by public transport, then keep in mind that you will have to change several buses. Each trip will cost up to 0.30 USD.

First, leave the air hub and cross the road. You have to catch a bus to the Vasco da Gama crossroad. It will take around 10 minutes to reach it and there is a bus station near it.

Then, go to the bus station and search for any transport to Panaji. There also might be shuttles that do not make additional stops.

There are regular buses to Morjim from Panaji. Take one of them and in around one hour and a half you will arrive at your final stop.

About the Route

Dabolim air hub is located 53 km away from Morjim. You will cross the Zuari, Atal Setu, and Siolim bridges which will make you grab your camera and take some photos. Besides that, most of the route is on a highway that goes past many small towns and villages.
