If you consider taking a cab at Goa Dabolim Airport, we recommend that you choose official prepaid taxis. The prepaid taxi booth can be found on the left before you exit the terminal — there, you will also find a price list with fixed fares to all resorts. Also, there is a kiosk outside the terminal. Note that air-conditioned cars are more expensive. Besides, at night hours (between 23:00 and 05:00), fares are higher. Baggage is always charged extra. As for payments, they can be made in cash only.

The average daytime taxi fare from Goa Airport to Cavelossim is 1,000 INR or 13.10 USD.  

Please keep in mind that local taxis are mainly old and dirty cars. As for drivers, they tend to be very reckless and drive too fast. Public Transport from Goa Airport to Cavelossim

There is no direct public transport service from the airport to Cavelossim. You will need to change buses twice:

First, take the bus to Vasco da Gama. The station is outside the terminal, near the intersection with the traffic light.

Then, at Vasco da Gama station, change to the bus to Margao.

Finally, in Margao, catch the bus to Cavelossim.

The total travel time is around 1 hour and 40 minutes, and the total trip cost is 80 INR (1.5 USD). Bear in mind that buses run at daytime only and do not have strict timetables. Also, they are almost always crowded, and the drivers drive too fast.

About the Route

Cavelossim is located around 40 kilometers away from Goa Dabolim Airport. The road to the resort is narrow and winding.
