Mandrem is a famous coastal village with two beautiful beaches. You can easily get there from Goa Airport (GOI) by booking a transfer.

Getting to the resort will be difficult if your plane arrives at night or you travel with children and elderly relatives. There is no public transport that would go right to the village, so a transfer will solve all the problems.

A professional driver will meet you and help with your luggage. Even if you do not know the local language, do not worry. The driver will be holding a nameplate. Taxi from Goa Airport to Mandrem Beach

One of the ways to reach the village is by booking a taxi. You can use prepaid yellow-black cabs that are available outside the air hub’s terminal. Using any other taxis is not recommended because those are most likely scams.

The taxi fare from Goa Airport to Mandrem is around 21 USD.

Please note that at night the fares are 35% higher. Also, if you do not want to overpay for the ride, ask the driver to turn off the air conditioning. In India, AC is an add-on that adds up to the price.

Public Transport from Goa Airport to Mandrem

The resort can be accessed in a lot of different ways. They are all connected by one thing: you will have to change transport many times. The price of each trip will vary from 0.10 to 0.30 USD.

When you exit the air hub, cross the road and try to catch any bus that goes to Vasco da Gama crossroad. It will take around 10 minutes before you reach it. There is a bus station near it, use it as a sign. 

Search for a bus or shuttle that goes to Panaji. Getting there will take around half an hour.

After that, search for any transport to Arambol. If you cannot find anything, take any bus to Mapusa. Buses usually stop 1.5 km away from the beach on the main road.

Once you reach the beach, you will be able to reach Mandrem on foot or take a taxi. The distance is around 7.5 km.

Please note that public transport usually does not have any signs or numbers. Therefore, you have to ask the driver about the bus destination.

About the Route

The distance between Goa air hub and Mandrem beach is 56 km. On your way, you will pass through the Zuari, Atal Setu, and Siolim bridges. The route is mostly on a highway which goes through many small cities and villages.
