How to Get from Serris to Paris and Other Destinations
Serris is a French commune situated 37 km from the capital. It is best known for being located close to the amusement park Disneyland. In our short article, we share tips on getting from the town to Paris and other neighboring destinations by taxi, transfer, and public transport.
Taxi from Serris
One can easily call a local taxi by phone, on the web, or hail it in the street. Cab companies usually provide meter-based prices, but for intercity trips to popular destinations, they may offer flat rates. Make sure to negotiate pricing with a driver before getting in the car. On average, a trip from Serris to the capital by taxi costs 55-70 euros and takes 40 minutes. A 35-minute travel to Charles de Gaulle Airport will make 60-75 euros.
Transfer from Serris
Compared to a taxi, a private transfer is a more convenient way to travel. In this case, you don’t need to arrange a cab and spend time waiting for it. Instead, you book a preferred class vehicle in advance to use it on the needed date and time and reach the destination in comfort. To reserve a Kiwitaxi transfer, fill in the booking form with a pick-up address, a drop-off point, specify the time you need a car, and provide a number of passengers. At Kiwitaxi, you may order child seats as well.
Depending on a chosen car class, a fare for a 40-minute transfer to Paris starts from 60 euros. Reaching Charles de Gaulle air hub from Serris by Kiwitaxi costs from 66 euros and takes 35 minutes. You’ll know the full price when reserving a transfer – it is fixed and will never change. At Kiwitaxi, you don’t need to make advance payments and can pay the fare to a driver after the trip is over.
Our drivers are highly qualified professionals capable of driving safely and managing road situations. You will enjoy a comfortable ride and swiftly reach the destination.
Public Transport from Serris
One may catch a direct train from the village to the capital every hour daily. A 40-minute trip will cost 3-5 euros per ticket. To reach Charles de Gaulle air terminal by rail, you’ll need to get to Marne-la-Vallee first, and then change to a TGV to the airport. The journey will cost 21-29 euros and last 40 minutes. You may set off for Versailles by rail too: you’ll have to change a train at the station La Defence. The whole trip will take 1,5 hours and 7-11 euros per person.
If planning to go by public transport, remember to check their timetable. Unlike taxi and transfer services, available 24/7, trains have limited hours of operation.
