How to Get from Larnaca Airport (LCA) to Ayia Napa
Larnaca International Airport is the busiest air hub in Cyprus. Plenty of travelers head from this hub to Ayia Napa - a famous tourist center situated on the eastern side of the island. There is about 40 km between Larnaca Airport and Ayia Napa. Tourists can use public transportation, a transfer, or a taxi to reach the resort.
Taxis from Larnaca Airport to Ayia Napa
Travelers can usually find lots of taxis waiting at Larnaca Airport. One can see them on the right when exiting the terminal. These taxis are black or white with chequers on top. Fares are paid according to the taximeter. On average, a taxi to Ayia Napa from Larnaca Airport costs €60 at daytime and evening hours (at nighttime, tariffs are 1.5 higher). If your baggage exceeds 12 kg, you’ll have to pay €1.2 extra. Be ready to tell the taxi driver not only the name of your hotel but also its exact address.

Public Transportation from Larnaca Airport to Ayia Napa
You can use buses to reach the town of Ayia Napa from Larnaca Airport. Unfortunately, there’s no direct service running between these two points, so you’ll need to make a change in the city center. At the air hub, take Line 425, 429, 417, or 419 running to Larnaca (the fare is €1.5). In the city, change to Line 711 (€1.5) or green Intercity Buses going in the direction of Famagusta (€4). The latter make fewer stops on the way so their travel time is almost twice shorter.
If you arrive at the airport after 11 p.m, it’s better to choose a transfer service or take a taxi. Buses don’t operate from here at this time.
