How do I find and book a transfer?

Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.

Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer?

Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.

If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.

If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.

If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.

How do I know if my booking has gone through?

After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

If you have not received the email with the confirmation, please contact our manager by email at support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

How can I find my driver?

Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.

If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.

If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.

Transfers vs. Other Ways to Get from Zagreb Franjo Tudjman Airport

International Airport of Zagreb named after Franjo Tudjman, also known as Pleso, is the biggest in Croatia. Annually it serves more than 2 million passengers, with a passenger traffic peak in the summer season. Tourists travel from the capital not only to cities of Croatia (Poreč, Karlovac, Ivanić-Grad) but also of Slovenia (Ljubljana, Rogaška Slatina, Rimske Toplice, Laško, Šmarješke Toplice).

How to get from Zagreb Airport to Zagreb city center or the other way round

Franjo Tudjman Airport is located 17 km away from the capital’s downtown. And there are several ways to get there:

  • a shuttle bus runs from the airport to the central bus station of Zagreb every 30 minutes from 07:00 to 20:00 (and back from 04:00 to 20:30). After 20:00 buses set off from the airport after a plane landing. Tickets can be bought at the airport counter, from a driver or online;
  • ZET bus’s route begins in the outskirts of Zagreb (Velika Gorica), runs via the airport and goes to the downtown — Kvaternik Square (near the Central train station). The bus runs on this route every 35 minutes from 04:30 to 00:15 on weekdays and on Saturdays (on Sundays - 05:35). Tickets can be bought at a newsstand, a ZET ticket office or from a driver. The stop at the air hub is located opposite the arrival terminal exit;
  • taxi from Zagreb Airport to the city center, which you can take on the spot or order via the app;
  • transfer, booked online in advance.

A public transport stop is to the right of the terminal exit. At night, you can get to the capital center only by shuttle bus, taxi or transfer.

Advantages of a private transfer

You will not fall victim in the local taxi wars. Uber here has been facing strong pressure from local taxi drivers from the very beginning. One of the last conflicts ended with a car arson.

Order in the language you know. Except for Uber, there are local taxi apps in Zagreb: Eko Taxi and Radio Taxi. But, keep in mind, that they are mostly in Croatian. Kiwitaxi website, its booking form, and the client support service are available in English.

Disadvantage of a private transfer

Twice as expensive. You can order a taxi from Zagreb Airport to the city center for 13–16 euro. The transfer to your hotel will cost 30 euro.

Advantages of a private transfer

You do not depend on public transportation. By bus or shuttle, you will be able to get only to Zagreb center. In order to get to your hotel, you will have to adapt yourself to the routes of public transport. With our service, you go directly to your destination, without stops.

Twice as fast. Shuttle bus or bus waiting time is 30–35 minutes, and a trip to the city will take another 30–40 minutes. You will manage to get to your hotel by transfer in half of this time you.

Disadvantage of a private transfer

More expensive, even if you travel in a group. One ticket on a shuttle costs 4,2 euro (30 Croatian kunas), on ZET bus — 1,7 euro (2,1 euro, when buying a ticket from a driver). Transfer from Zagreb Airport to the city for 7 passengers will cost 35 euro.
