How do I find and book a transfer?

Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.

Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer?

Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.

If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.

If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.

If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.

How do I know if my booking has gone through?

After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

If you have not received the email with the confirmation, please contact our manager by email at support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

How can I find my driver?

Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.

If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.

If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.

Transfer vs. Other Ways to Get from Vienna Schwechat Airport

From Schwechat, one can travel both to Vienna and to other cities in Austria and Europe: Salzburg, Innsbruck, Budapest, Bratislava, and others. So that your journey goes well, choose a transport for your route in advance.

How to get from Vienna Airport to Vienna city center or the other way round

Schwechat is 14–16 km away from the capital of Austria. There are different types of transport running on this route:

  • buses: express shuttle Vienna Airport Lines, as well as transit Eurolines;
  • different trains and commuter trains (City Airport Train CAT, Intercity Express ICE, city railway S7);
  • taxi cabs from Vienna Airport ordered via the smartphone app or taken on the spot;
  • a transfer booked in advance.

Ground transport is well-developed here: all trains, commuter trains and buses from Vienna Schwechat are new, with comfortable carriages and soft seats. Trains and buses have only two drawbacks: they do not run at night and some line buses are not very frequent.

Advantages of a private transfer

More comfort, the same price. Taxi from the app in Vienna costs as much as the transfer. But the latter has a number of advantages: meeting with a name sign, help with luggage and many more. For the same money, a taxi driver will only take you from A to B, without any personal service.

Pay in advance. Taxi services, like myTaxi and other Viennese taxi companies, accept payments only by the card, tied to the app. Even if you want to pay in cash, it will not be possible. With Kiwitaxi, you pay on the website in advance and avoid problems with cash.

Travel with a licensed driver. As in other countries, Uber drivers in Vienna can start working without the license. It helps them decrease fares, but also escape liability for a passenger’s safety. All Kiwitaxi drivers have the license.
