You can get from Tivat Airport to Budva by bus, commercial shuttle, or taxi. The cheapest way to get to Budva is surely by bus. But note that they don’t operate at night, and the bus stop is located 300 m from Tivat Airport - you'll also have to walk to it. Commercial shuttles is a good option, since they are spacious and have special luggage holds, and they can reach Budva faster than buses. However, group shuttles depart from Tivat bus station (which is 15-minutes walk from the airport) only three times a day, so you may have to wait for it for several hours. Taxis and transfers Tivat-Budva is a good, but yet expensive option. It’s great for those who arrive in Tivat at night, have a lot of luggage or are travelling with small children.

There is no direct bus connection between Tivat Airport and Budva. To get to Budva by bus, you need to leave the airport building, reach the bus stop in the highway and then get on one of the local intercity buses. They depart every 30 minutes, and the ticket price is around EUR 2. There are no journeys at night.

Leave the arrival terminal and walk about 100 m from the airport in the direction of the Yadransky Poot (Adriatic highway). Turn left (do not change the side of the road !!) and walk another 100 m. You will see two yellow metal roofs - this is the stop. Choose buses with the word BUDVA on them. To make a shuttle stop, signal to it by your hand.
Comfortable shuttles Tivat-Budva depart from the bus station which is 15-minutes walk from the airport. Unfortunately, they depart only 2-3 times a day (depending on the carrier company) and the price of the ticket for them is a little higher than that for a usual bus - €4.

Commercial shuttles don't stop right at the airport, they depart from Tivat bus station. Leave the terminal, go on the track and go left for about 15 minutes until you see the building surrounded by buses.
We recommend everyone who is travelling with small children, has a lot of luggage, or doesn’t want to walk to the bus stop to choose a taxi Tivat-Budva. You can take a car on the spot (there are lots of private drivers operating around the airport 24/7) or book it beforehand. If you arrive at night, you should book a transfer. The taxi price starts from €18, so if you are a family of three, it’s not much more expensive than the trip by shuttle. You can book a comfortable sedan or a minibus for a group of people.
