It is possible to get from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport to the city center by express bus, city bus, train, transfer or taxi. You can also rent a car without a driver. The express bus reaches Nice in 20-30 minutes, and a ticket costs 6 euro. It is cheaper to travel by city bus - 1,50 euro for a trip. However, you will spend a little more than 30 minutes on the way. The least convenient option is the train: in order to get on it, you will have to cover additional 1,2 kilometers to get to the train station. A ticket costs 2,50 euro, and the trip including the way to the station and waiting time will take you approximately 35 minutes. By taxi or transfer, you can get there in 10 minutes at the minimum price of 39 euro. The distance from Nice to the airport is only 7 kilometers.
A daily ticket within Nice costs 5 euro. Although it is valid for trips from and to the airport, it is better to purchase it for long-distance trips within the city. By the way, public transport from Côte d'Azur air hub to the city stop operating closer to the midnight, and only the bus N4 (Noctambus Ouest) keeps running. It runs to Promenade des Arts stop approximately from 21:00 to 01:30. The rest of time, only taxi and transfers are available. Those who plan to leave Nice by train for Cannes, Monaco, Paris or Moscow, choose as a rule to get to the train station first.

There is no direct train to Nice from the airport. The railway station is 1,2 kilometers away from the airport. One will have to walk to get to it or take the bus 1А, 1В or 200. The cost of a train ticket is 2,50 euro. By train, you can get to Nice main train station. The way from the airport to the city including the walk to the train station and wait time will take around 35 minutes. Although trains run from 6 am to 10 pm, you will be able to buy tickets only between 08:00 and 19:30. From Nice train station, one can travel even to Moscow. It is better to check timetables and ticket prices in advance.

Every 20 minutes, express buses N 98 and 99 depart from the airport to Nice. The bus N98 runs to the Eastern train station (Gare de Nice Riquier), and N 99 goes without stops to the main train station Gare Nice Ville. The trip will take you approximately 40–50 minutes including waiting time and will cost 6 euro. Ticket offices are at the exit from arrivals area. Do not forget to validate your ticket.
