If you are thinking how to get from the airport to Paris, you can choose a bus, a train, a taxi, or a shared transfer. The bus runs according to a strict timetable, the trip will cost you €6 and will take about 1 hour and 20 minutes. The Charles de Gaulle Airport RER train will take you to Paris in half an hour for €10. The trip by shared transfer and shuttle such as Roissy and AirFrance will cost from €11.5 and will take tourists to the city center in an hour. The distance between Charles de Gaulle Airport and Paris is about 30 km, depending on the chosen route.
If you have lots of experience traveling abroad and have no large luggage, the best way for you to save money will be taking public transport: trains or buses. Remember that by using public transport, you risk getting into a traffic jam and spend much more time on your trip than planned. But travelers who are planning to spend a few days in Paris, can buy a season ticket for several trips and use it for almost all kinds of land transport. Mothers with children, aged people, and inexperienced tourists who are afraid of getting lost shall consider taking a private transfer or a taxi from Charles de Gaulle. Using a more money-saving option - a shared transfer - you will get to Paris city center faster than by usual bus, but slower than by taxi.
Many tourists are attracted by the romantic image of the city which inspires them for both unhurried walks and serious excursions. The main sights of Paris are known all over the world: the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, the famous Moulin Rouge (Red Mill) cabaret, and many others. All tourists arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport and then go from it to thousands of hotels which welcome guests from around the world 24/7.

Paris Airport buses are less comfortable and not so fast as commercial ones. But they have two doubtless advantages: low ticket cost and night journeys. You can reach Paris city center at daytime by routes N350 and N351, and at nighttime - by N140 and N143. The travel time will be about an hour and a half (and less than an hour at night). The Charles de Gaulle Airport bus is a good option for those who are traveling without large luggage and small children, and it is the opportunity to save money and take a look at the suburbs of Paris out the window.

The Charles de Gaulle Airport train line from Paris Airport (RER-ligne B) allows tourists to get to the city center at a relatively inexpensive price and without traffic jams. Although the fare is a little higher than it is for city buses, the trip takes only half an hour. However, we do not recommend this form of transport for travelers with a lot of suitcases. There is no separate place for luggage on trains.
