Express trains Trenord and electric trains Trenitalia run from Malpensa train platforms to Milan. The platform is situated near Terminal 1 (from Terminal 2, you'll have to take a shuttle). On average, you'll have to wait for a train for 1-1.5 hours and pay €12 for a ticket. In the morning and in the evening, trains are less frequent than they are in the afternoon, and they don’t operate at night at all.
